FDHS Facts for Potential Students:

 

  • Students can earn up to 2 credits per quarter and 9 per year
  • Class sizes are 10-15 students
  • Students can access Career Center classes while at FDHS
  • FDHS offers Plato Classes, Virtual High School, and the VA Program
  • FDHS has a basketball team for boys.  FDHS students interested in other sports can participate with sending school teams
  • Students should continue attending sending school after submitting application.
  • FDHS is a school of choice
  • Interested students must complete the interview process following the deadlines and process below

Interview Process

1.   School Visit
2.  NON-IEP STUDENTS
  • Complete application with recommendation from Administrator or Counselor
  • Submit application to Suzette Miller at FDHS 
2.  IEP STUDENTS
  • Complete application with recommendation from Case Manager
  • Submit application to Paula Lillard at FDHS
  • Interview/Screening with Paula Lillard and Debbie Flores
 
3.   Notification and Scheduling by FDHS
 4.  Accepted students start at FDHS at the beginning of new quarter
