Mr. Miller grew up in a rural town called Bowling Green, Missouri before moving to the “big” city of Columbia in 2008. He graduated from Columbia College in 2011 with a B.S. in Mathematics (minors in Psychology and Secondary Education) then continued at the same school to graduate with a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in 2012. Mr. Miller got his start at Douglass High school as a student teacher in Fall 2011, made a transition to Hickman High School for more student teaching in Spring 2012, and found his way back to Douglass High to begin his teaching career in Fall 2012.

In his free time he enjoys reading, biking, hiking, reading, watching movies, reading, walking downtown, drinking coffee, reading, and much more (feel free to ask him). He has three, lovely, red-headed nieces and is the owner of 18+ plants that reside in his home and classroom. He’s also not the greatest at writing autobiographies or talking in the third person so feel free to talk to him in person to get a better vibe of his personality!
