1.      The yearbooks are on sale for $20 until January 20.  Get yours at Jostens.com today. (Read every Friday until January 20)

 

2.      Hey 6th, 7th, and 8th grade!  It is time to check the spelling of your name for our yearbooks which will be here in May.  During West Walk, or some other time during the day, stop by the board in front of Mrs. Coggeshall’s room (212) by the Media Center to check the spelling of your name.  Notify Mrs. Coggeshall of any changes to be made.  You have until Friday, January 20 to change anything.  Thanks!

 

3.      Knitting Club will have a meeting Thursday.  Bring yourself for some fun with knitting. (We have yarn & needles, or bring your own project.)  Snacks will be provided!  Hope to see you there!

 

4.      Hickman Curriculum Fair is Thursday, January 19, 5-7 pm in the Hickman Commons.  Join us to learn more about classes you want to explore and have a chance to meet our faculty.  This is a great time to ask questions that will help you make decisions about your high school program of study.

 

5.      Sports Physicals will be given on February 11 from 8-11 a.m. at the Columbia Orthopaedic Group.  Cost is $20 and no appointments are necessary.  The Physicals will be good for the 2017-2018 school year.  This event will be staffed by sports medicine physicians along with athletic trainers.  Any questions please call Peak Sport and Spine.

 

6.      The Volunteer Club’s First Meeting is Thursday, January 19, in the Media Center.  Plan for rides for 3:45.

 

7.      The after school computer lab will be open on Thursday.

 

8.      Dungeons and Dragons will be meeting Thursday after school.  Sign up for the activity bus or plan rides for 3:45.

 

9.       Good morning Vikings! West Winter Wonderland is coming up. Bring your family and friends on Friday, January 27 from 6 to 8 pm. Make sure to bring money! Admission is free but a chili dinner costs $2 or $3 with a drink. Raffle tickets are 2 for a dollar or 12 for $5. Make sure to wear blue and white or winter accessories like hats, scarves or gloves.
